I have experience working with adults who are struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, complicated grief, parenting, elder care, relationships and substance misuse. My mindfulness-based, client centered approach with a focus on strengths, goals, and current needs will aid you in developing coping skills that will allow you to move from problematic emotions and unhealthy habits to healing. I have a non-judgmental, compassionate, supportive, and reflective style. My aim is to help you figure the path that’s right for you to begin the process of change. With that said seeking help is the first step in your courageous journey towards improving thoughts, emotional stability, actions and a greater wellbeing. I am licensed in the following states: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Oregon.
I draw from Solutions-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing with a focus on identifying negative thoughts and their impact on your emotions and behavior.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. I’m here to listen and I look forward to working with you.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. My goal is to help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Counseling and therapy can be beneficial to those struggling with stress. Symptoms can involve a range of both physical and behavioral symptoms. This may include difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, inability to concentrate, excessive crying, social isolation, and mood swings. The upswing is that symptoms can improve!
